it just doesn’t seem like anything could end here. everything seems to be just starting: conversations/ movements/ projects/campaigns/stories or in process of. i guess that’s part of the power of movement, that it doesn’t end, but it’s constantly moving. moving people. people moving.
on that note, i went for a body movement session after lunch. it reminded me of a creative theraphy session i once had at Youth Artsmall Exchange and also Scripted Body workshop. where we just relax, got comfortable in our body, rekindle our relationship with it, the body that move movements, got comfortable with other people’s body, by moving around freely, no rationalizing, judging or speaking allowed. it was a nice break from the intense talking and listening. sometimes as activist/feminist or even just as people, we forget that our body wants our attention too, that it want its own space to chill and not conform to the usual movement of walking, working…
then after tea, i managed to catch the last hour of a session on discriminatory law on women in Iran.
