Voize.my betul-betul ‘indie’ ke?

check out this link: http://voize.my/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=2402

i suggest for as many people to go and there and post your comment. we don’t want to ban or censor people but we do want them to grow, especially if they claim to be ‘independent’ and thus non-mainstream and more radical no?

i posted by comment there, don’t know if they will publish it: even if this article was taken from another site, it clearly shows voize’s management chauvinist viewpoint by being posted as it’s content. i was alerted to it by my friends whom have been your readers and whom have been clearly disgusted and outraged. i am sure this article have lost you many female readers and men too whom have great respect for their mothers, sisters and female friends. this article also dispute your ‘Independentness’ as your philosophy, thinking and content have strong heterosexual alpha male mainstream leanings. it makes this site no different from the common magazine.

Mien, thanks for letting us know about this revolting post. i sent a comment, and it hasn’t been published either. i’m smelling something fishy here.

    This is what i wrote:

I’m thoroughly disappointed that Voize would post up something like this. Independence, that element I understand about this portal. But independence to the point of blatant disrespect is ridiculous. If a woman posted up a similar article on men, I’m sure she would get socially ostracized.
This article is teeming with unfair and extremely unnecessary judgment about women AND race. There is no logic in this piece, so I refuse to acknowledge this as a valid opinion that even deserves to be published.
I trust that this post gets taken down immediately for the sake of social responsibility.

I also left an unpublished comment:
“This article is deplorable on a number of levels – racial stereotypes and sexism being the most obvious. In addition, pasting an article from another source reflects slipshod editorial standards.

Last but not least, if you bother to read the website from which this article was taken, you will quickly understand that it is a resource for sex tourists – e.g.”Juggling Several Girls At Once… One way is to have another room at a second nearby hotel and alternate your rendezvous. Another is to occasionally change your room at your main hotel”

Well if nothing else, I think the “dating” article was not only low, but the writing was terrible!
